Fiberglass and Cellulose Insulation

Here, at Superior Insealators, we understand that every project is unique and every customer is special. So, we offer our customers a wide range of products to ensure that we can meet their needs. When installed correctly, fiberglass and cellulose insulation will help improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home. One of the biggest advantages of these two options is the cost. They are both cheaper to manufacture and require less labor and equipment to install, keeping your overall costs down. For fiberglass and cellulose insulation, we utilize only high quality brands like Knauf, Owens Corning, Applegate, Johns Manville, and Cell Pak for their high-quality materials.

Acoustical Insulation

A complaint that is often heard from homeowners is that it seems like sound travels in their home. This can be solved during the early phases of building any home or during a home renovation project. At Superior Insealators, we offer traditional fiberglass batting as well as open cell spray foam for acoustical insulation. While fiberglass batting is more cost-effective, the structure of open cell spray foam provides superior performance because it is better at absorbing sound and keeping your home quiet. Typically, acoustical insulation is installed around all bedrooms, bathrooms and any mechanical rooms. However, it can be installed anywhere that you want to help mitigate sound. Applications of acoustical insulation are:  home theater rooms, game rooms, workout rooms and even golf rooms.

Many homeowners are adding one or more home offices and others are upgrading workspaces and the home environment with an insulation upgrade.

Flood Resistant Materials

According to FEMA a flood resistant material is “any building product capable of withstanding direct and prolonged contact with floodwaters without sustaining significant damage.” This means that the material must be able to withstand direct contact with floodwaters for at least 72 hours without requiring repairs (other than basic cosmetic repairs). Superior Insealators has you covered. Our closed cell foam is listed by FEMA as a flood resistant material. Spray foam is an excellent solution as it will expand to fill nooks and crannies to ensure that there is a quality seal as effective protection from flood water.

Cavity Fill Injection Foam

This method of insulating is used when you already have an existing wall that is not well insulated as it can top up and go around to fill in a wall that is partially insulted.  This technique allows us to upgrade your insulation while being minimally invasive.  Creating small holes on the exterior of your home, we inject a special type of foam that fills the cavity behind the exterior wall, creating a more comfortable interior environment for you.  You will also benefit from noise reduction by having a properly insulated wall.

Cavity Fill foam completely fills the cavity; spreading into all the cracks and gaps when it is installed to create an air seal. The foam will make its way around and between wires and pipes when it is injected into existing walls.  The longevity of foam, like all spray foam insulation, is unmatched and lasts for the life of the building.

What is GREENGUARD Certification?

Products that have achieved GREENGUARD Certification are scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure. With this seal of approval, you can rest assured that the spray foam being installed into your home is not only saving you money on your heating and cooling bills, but it is also good for the environment.
